About this file

The Surplus Material Evaluation Form (v1.2) is a comprehensive document designed to provide detailed information about surplus material being offered in a federal contract proposal. The form requires extensive documentation about the surplus item, including its identification (NSN, part number, manufacturer), condition (new/unused, reconditioned, modified, or used/overhauled), and warranty information. Key sections include item information, surplus details, warranty specifications, and a detailed condition assessment, with options to describe reconditioning, modifications, or overhaul history of the material. The form is intended to comply with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 11.302(b) requirements and helps contracting officials evaluate the quality and suitability of surplus materials for potential procurement.
