About this file
This is a Subcontractor List template for Arms, Ammunition & Explosives (AA&E) contracting that requires detailed documentation of all contractors and subcontractors handling AA&E materials. The template mandates contractors to provide comprehensive information for each entity involved in AA&E work, including contractor name and organizational role (lead or subcontractor), specific AA&E items being handled, National Stock Numbers (NSN) where applicable, Security Risk Classification (SRC) levels per DODM 5100.76, hazard classifications (HC) per TB 700-2, and Government-Furnished Property (GFP) designation status.
The template requires physical addresses and CAGE codes for all contractor locations where AA&E will be handled, with verification that addresses and CAGE codes match federal databases. Additionally, contractors must provide complete point-of-contact information including full name, phone number, and email address for each location. The example provided shows "Propellants 'R' Us, Inc." as the lead contractor handling 10 lbs. of Experimental M14 Propellant Grains at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, classified as SRC IV with HC 1.3 hazard classification and not furnished as Government property. This template is essential for establishing security and safety accountability for all parties involved in handling explosives and ammunition materials on federal contracts.
