About this file

This document is a Subcontractor Affidavit for Douglas County Board of Commissioners, specifically related to compliance with O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91. The affidavit requires subcontractors to verify their participation in the federal work authorization program known as E-Verify when performing services under a contract. Subcontractors must affirm their current registration and continued use of E-Verify throughout the contract period, and they must also ensure that any sub-subcontractors they engage provide similar affidavits.

The document outlines specific administrative requirements for subcontractors, including forwarding notices of affidavit receipts to the primary contractor within five business days and attesting to their federal work authorization user identification number and date of authorization. While no specific project details, contract value, or service scope are provided in this standard compliance document, it represents a formal legal mechanism for verifying workforce eligibility and immigration compliance for contractors working with Douglas County.
