About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) for a Group 3 Small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Swarm Carrier. The RFI seeks information from industry on the ability to deliver a Group 3 sUAS platform capable of internally carrying and deploying Group 2 sUAS within 24-36 months. The Swarm Carrier must align with Modular Open System Approach (MOSA) design principles and be compatible with the Adaptive Airborne Enterprise (A2E) architecture. Respondents are asked to provide a technology synopsis detailing their proposed solution, including technical specifications, programmatic requirements, and cost estimates. Classified information may be submitted separately via SIPR email or mail. Responses are due by August 9, 2024, and the government may use the information gathered to inform its acquisition strategy for initial and future A2E capabilities.

Attachment B [OPTIONAL] Technology Synopsis

Attachment B is optional but provides Respondents with the opportunity to submit up to three additional pages per solution submitted via Attachment A. USG is specifically seeking technology synopses for those solutions that are air deployable and meet both the payload capacity and range provided in the CUI document.

This submission shall not exceed three single-sided pages. This information may supplement the information in Attachment A with additional detail on technologies, experiences, and any other information the Respondent deems necessary for USG to understand the proposed technology/solution. Any information included in Attachment B should be supplementary to information in Attachment A. Please ensure that all critical solution-related information is included in Attachment A.

While Attachment A cannot contain classified information, Attachment B may contain classified information. Refer to the instructions in the RFI for submitting Attachment B via SIPRNet or mail if classified information is included in Attachment B. Please ensure that Attachment B is only submitted as a supplement to Attachment A. Responses containing only Attachment B will not be considered complete and will not be reviewed by USG representatives.

Attachment B should be submitted on a Letter-size (8.5" x 11") Microsoft Word document with 1" margins on top, bottom, and sides. Fonts must be readable when printed. A cover page should be used (not counted against the 3 page limit) and contain the following information:

Solution name Company Name

Date of Submission Distribution Statement

Ensure all pages of Attachment B are marked with the appropriate security classification.
