About this file
This is a Technical Requirements document and Addendum to Supplier Quote for a Streak Camera procurement (Purchase Req G6-238048) issued by Argonne National Laboratory for the Advanced Photon Source Storage Ring. The procurement uses a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation strategy and is administered by the Department of Energy Office of Science.
The streak camera system must meet nine primary technical requirements: measure bunch lengths ranging from 10ps to 150ps RMS; achieve 2ps or better time resolution for precise longitudinal beam profile measurement; support functionality within injector machines; operate within specified storage ring parameters (RF frequency of 352.055 MHz, harmonic number of 1296, revolution frequency of 271.674 kHz, and variable bunch patterns); provide dual sweep capabilities for transient measurements during beam instability; include a gate signal with extinction ratio higher than 10^6 for bunch-by-bunch profile measurements; feature both fast and slow sweep modules for dual sweep measurements in injector machines; and include complete system integration with input/output optics, a suitable digital camera, and control software for camera operation, image acquisition, display, and processing. Offerors must complete and sign the technical requirements addendum, identify any exceptions to requirements with supporting evidence, provide lead time for delivery DAP to Lemont, Illinois, submit country of origin documentation consistent with Buy American provisions (65 percent domestic content for 2024-2028 deliveries), complete the ANL-70 Request for Quotation and ANL-70B Representations and Certifications forms, and provide a list of capabilities aligned with technical requirements. All submissions are due by 5pm CDT on September 22, 2026.
