About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the Air Force's requirement for high-power cables and connectors for PNT Operational Field Assessments (POFA) and high-power jamming environments. The solicitation seeks 58 coaxial cables and 40 connectors with specific mechanical and electrical specifications, including various connector types (7/16 DIN and N-type) in multiple length configurations (10', 35', 75') of SFT-600 cable or equivalent.
Key technical requirements include cables that can: operate in extreme temperatures (-55°C to 200°C), transmit 800-2000 MHz RF signals, handle 1500 watts at specific frequencies (1575.42 MHz and 1227.6 MHz), maintain maximum line loss of 5.1 dB/100ft, have a minimum bend radius of 3.0 inches, weigh no more than 0.25 pounds per foot, and be weatherproof with an IP 67 outdoor rating. The cables are intended to support navigation warfare (NAVWAR) capabilities by efficiently transferring power from 1500-watt amplifiers to antennas with minimal power loss.

STATEMENT OF WORK
TITLE: High Power Cables/POFA Equipment
Requiring Activity Name:
1.0 OVERVIEW
1.1 BACKGROUND
1.2 SCOPE
has a requirement to transmit high levels of power for certain objectives during To be able to achieve this objective the needs cables and connectors that can handle the power that the 1500-watt amplifiers in the are producing and effectively transfer it to the antennas. This must be done with the least amount of power loss through the cables as possible to increase efficiency, ultimately resulting in a better test environment. These high-power cables must also be flexible and rugged for the extreme environments the are operated in.
1.3 OBJECTIVE
The is looking to acquire 58 coaxial cables and 40 connectors with the requirements listed below, in order to equip our for high power jamming environments. Various cable lengths and connector types are required and are also listed in the requirements section below.
