About this file

This Statement of Work document is for Washington County Solid Waste & Recycling (SWR) detailing a printing services contract for outreach and educational materials. The contract covers four job types of printing services: brochures/booklets, posters/fliers/cards, bound/perforated/cut materials, and mailed postcards/trifold brochures. The printing requirements include full color materials in various sizes (4.25 to 11 x 17 inches) with run lengths ranging from 50 to 25,000 pieces, delivered in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Example projects include recycling guides, meal planners, door hangers, and informational postcards for residents and businesses across Washington County. The contract term is anticipated to be one year with potential renewal options for up to five additional years.

The budget and payment terms specify that total payment will not exceed a to-be-determined contract total, with invoicing based on progress and time spent or per piece/project. Contractors are required to submit invoices for work completed before June 30, 2024 by July 31, 2024, and for work between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025 by July 31, 2025. The county will pay net thirty days from invoice receipt for undisputed amounts. The document requires rapid supplier responsiveness, mandating that contractors respond to initial print requests within five business days and status update requests within three days. The printing must use FSC Certified paper and meet specific quality standards for image clarity, ink coverage, and color consistency.
