About this file
This is a Unit Developed Statement of Work (SOW) for the Delta Fence Project by the 55th AMXS at the Bennie Davis Maintenance Facility. The project requires installing a 6 foot 8 inch wide by 10 foot high walkway gate with a cipher lock (KABA Simplex 1021B or similar) between Deltas 1 and 2 to block unauthorized personnel from accessing restricted areas. The gate will have secured fence posts, a chain-fence, and potentially be topped with barbed wire to reach the full 10-foot height requirement.
Key project requirements include obtaining necessary security and safety clearances, performing a mandatory pre-bid site visit, breaking down the bid into materials and labor line items, meeting federal safety standards, and completing the installation within specified parameters. The contractor must obtain all required permits, clean up the work site, repair any government property damage, and dispose of excess materials properly. The project aims to enhance security by creating a controlled access point in a currently unrestricted area of the facility.
