About this file

This is a Statement of Work for snowplow blade repair services requested by the National Park Service at Glacier National Park in Montana. The work involves repairing a Henke Manufacturing Model 30-60-12ISR.SLT.SIS1 snowplow blade (Serial Number 28268) through a series of corrective and protective measures designed to restore the blade's alignment and functionality. The specific scope includes removing the cutting-edge and backing supports, straightening the plow blade using appropriate methods and equipment, reattaching both supports, adjusting the cutting edge for proper road surface contact, and applying corrosion-protective paint to all repaired and disturbed metal surfaces.

The performance standard requires the plow blade to be returned in as straight and flat a condition as reasonably achievable given its current state, with all painted surfaces adequately coated for corrosion resistance. The deliverable is a fully restored and assembled snowplow blade with optimized road contact and complete corrosion protection. The blade can be transported within a 50-mile radius from West Glacier, Montana to the repair facility. The procurement is listed as a Pre-Solicitation under Solicitation Number 140P1426Q0033, and interested contractors should submit their information to the Contracting Officer, Kiara Stewart, at kiara_stewart@nps.gov.
