About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details an asphalt installation project for the 129th Rescue Wing at Moffett Air National Guard Base in Santa Clara County, California. The project involves installing base rock and asphalt in three separate locations totaling approximately 6,770 square feet: two locations in Location One covering 1,770 square feet, and one location in Location Two covering 5,000 square feet. The work requires excavating existing gravel and soil to a six-inch subgrade, followed by furnishing, grading, and compacting the surface to a smooth and uniform finish. Based on market research, approximately 170 tons of 150 LBS asphalt will be required to complete the project.

The SOW specifies that all work must be performed during normal government duty hours (Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 4:30pm) and requires contractors to comply with installation access and security procedures at Moffett Air National Guard Base. Contractors must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, immediately report any injuries to the government's on-site representative, and follow all applicable security protocols. The government will not provide any utilities, equipment, or materials, and work cannot be performed on weekends or federal holidays without express written consent from the Contracting Officer.
