This Statement of Work details requirements for acid and bicarbonate concentrates needed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons Medical Center in Springfield, MO. The technical specifications call for two types of acid concentrates (2K+ and 3K+) with precise chemical compositions - the 2K+ requiring sodium 100 mEq/L, potassium 2.0 mEq/L, calcium 2.5 mEq/L and other specified components, while the 3K+ has similar requirements but with potassium at 3.0 mEq/L. The bicarbonate concentrate must contain sodium and bicarbonate at 37mEq/L each.

The delivery requirements specify monthly shipments of approximately 65 55-gallon drums of 2K+, 12 55-gallon drums of 3K+, and 300 bags of bicarbonate (7.8 kg per bag), to be delivered on the second Tuesday of each month between 7:15 am and 2:15 pm at the Rear Gate. All deliveries must be palletized unless previously arranged, with specific requirements for pallet quality and handling. FOB Destination shipping terms apply, and the vendor must accommodate urgent non-routine orders when required. The contract structure includes a base period plus four 12-month options.
