STATEMENT OF WORK

SECTION I

1.0 Description of Services

1.1 General: The mission of the 20th Security Forces Squadron Visitor Control Center is to control access on and off Shaw Air Force Base. Integrating a Check-in Kiosk is essential to a system of flow to process large groups of personnel in a timely and organized manner to alleviate aggravated sponsors and customers. This will help us distinguish between the multiple types of customers that enter and how we can better assist them.

1.2 Background: Check-in Kiosks are used throughout most walk-in customer-based units to provide organization and structure to a lobby of patrons. This system allows the Visitor Control Center to prioritize large groups of individuals requesting service.

1.3 Business Relations: The Visitor Control Center is the first location most visitors see when interacting with Shaw AFB. The Visitor Control Center must process Community Leaders, Foreign Nationals, Foreign Military, Contractors, and Wing Personnel as sponsors and base access credential holders.

SECTION II

2.0 Task Descriptions, Specifications

2.1 Package Overview

2.1.1 Check-in System:

- This package will give walk-in customers the ability to self-queue by using a touchscreen kiosk and scanning a QR code with their phone to join a virtual queue, allowing customers to see the progress of their ticket from a browser on their mobile device, thus enabling them to receive automatic updates as they wait. This system should be 100% web-based, so customers do not need to download apps or software.

2.1.2 PA Specifications:

Preferred item specifications include software capable of handling a minimum of 30,000 visits annually, offering features such as Mobile Ticketing, Playlist Management, and Voice Announcements, with a minimum capacity of 15,000 yearly appointments. The package should encompass complete hardware provision along with system configuration, ensuring seamless integration. Equipment requirements consist of a 10" Check-in Kiosk with a floor stand, a Printer Kiosk of the same dimensions, an installation package for the 10" Floor Kiosk, an Android-based media player, and a 300' box of Cat5e Cable for connectivity.

2.1.3 Installation:

Contract necessitates comprehensive system training, compatibility with Single Sign-On (SAML), and language support for English and Spanish
