About this file

This is a Statement of Qualifications Requirements document for the City of St. Petersburg, Florida, establishing submittal guidelines for vendors seeking pre-qualification to furnish and deliver herbicides, pesticides, and related products on an as-needed basis. The City intends to pre-qualify up to three responsive vendors to maintain on file for future project opportunities, with preference given to at least one City-certified Small Business Enterprise. When projects become available, the City will solicit quotes from qualified vendors and award contracts to the lowest-priced qualified vendor who is available. No specific response deadlines, project timelines, site visits, or bidder conferences are detailed in this requirements document.

Offerors must submit a complete Statement of Qualifications as a single continuous PDF containing a signed transmittal letter on company letterhead, three reference projects or continuing services contracts completed within the past three years demonstrating relevant experience with complete client contact information, and firm-specific qualifications documentation. Firm qualifications must include a comprehensive list of all herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and related products offered; delivery methods for each product; expected lead times from order placement; clarification of whether deliveries are fulfilled directly or through third-party providers; and identification of any innovative or new products offered. The City will not accept product substitutions and will base final award decisions on price among qualified vendors, making competitive pricing and product availability critical factors for vendor selection.
