About this file

This document is a Statement of Qualification Requirements for the City of St. Petersburg's Fleet Management Department soliciting automotive replacement parts and accessories vendors. The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) requires vendors to submit a comprehensive 15-page PDF detailing their firm's capabilities, with specific sections covering transmittal letter, project team/key personnel, past project experience, firm-specific qualifications, and certifications. The document outlines a competitive selection process where vendors will be evaluated across multiple criteria, including project team expertise (20 points), past project experience (35 points), firm-specific qualifications (36 points), and small business enterprise certifications (9 points total).

The qualification requirements emphasize vendors' abilities to supply automotive parts, track order placements, provide environmental disposal services, offer trade-in credits, and demonstrate manufacturer warranties. Vendors must have at least three years of applicable experience, with project managers who can remain consistent throughout the contract term. The RFQ encourages vendors to showcase their capacity to meet the City's needs by detailing their product range, including listed and additional replacement parts, and their capabilities for order management and environmental responsibility. Bonus points are available for vendors certified as Small Business Enterprises (SBE), Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), or Women Business Enterprises (WBE) by the City of St. Petersburg.
