About this file

This is a State Price Schedule (SPS) Advertisement issued by the California Department of General Services, Procurement Division (DGS-PD) in conjunction with the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) Merit Award Program (MAP) to solicit suppliers for 25-Year State Service and Retirement Awards. The SPS provides awards to recognize and honor state employees reaching the 25-year service milestone or retiring from state service. The contract term is three years with an option to extend for an additional two-year period or portion thereof. All items offered must be newly manufactured; used, shopworn, refurbished, demonstrator, or prototype items are not acceptable. Suppliers must submit a complete and compliant SPS Supplier Application (Form CMU 09-03) along with all required supporting documents to be considered for approval. The resulting SPS will be non-mandatory for all State of California departments, meaning departments may choose to use the approved suppliers but are not required to do so.

The SPS encompasses two product categories: seven designated core items specified in Part II of the supplier application form, and non-core catalog items limited to 25-Year State Service and Retirement Awards available in the supplier's commercially available catalog. Approved SPS suppliers must submit an application annually to demonstrate ongoing compliance with SPS terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to terminate the SPS for convenience upon thirty days written notice. The delivery and service area is statewide California. Inquiries should be directed to Emily Valerio, DGS-PD State Contract Administrator at (279) 239-6930 or Emily.Valerio@dgs.ca.gov, or Victoria Calles, CalHR MAP Manager at (916) 273-8068 or merit@calhr.ca.gov. No specific pricing, funding amounts, or incumbent information is provided in this advertisement document.
