The total quantity is 20 units, with vendors required to propose on only one of the four CLIN categories. Additional questions addressed post-award coordination with DCMA for inspections and transportation, as well as potential repair sources like Standard Aero, which would require submission of a Source Acceptance Request (SAR) for review.

Q&A Posting 2

Sol: SPRTA1-25-R-0133

NOUN: SUPPORT, TURBINE NOZ

ENGINE: F108

PR: FD2030-25-00624

Q1: Can you clarify CLINS 003 and 0004. To me they look identical. Each CLIN has Quantity of

20. Is the intent behind have two CLINS for the Used/Overhauled assets to procure only 20 total, or 40 total? Read this a 20 total since the delivery schedules and quantities are the same.

I’m not sure if we are supposed to provide a quote for both of these CLINS or only 1 of them 9529M97G06.

R1: CLIN 0003 is Used/Overhauled Government Surplus and CLIN 0004, Used/Overhauled Commercial Surplus. CLIN 0003 is for Government surplus and CLIN 0004 is for Commercial surplus. The total quantity on this solicitation is 20 ea. The 20 ea. are stated under the 4 different surplus categories stated in the solicitation. You only need to provide proposal on one of the 4 CLINS stated. Please see note 2 of page 3 of the solicitation. It states the proposal will need to be submitted for the entire quantity stated on the CLIN. The CLINs will not be awarded for partial quantities.

Q2: Would you or someone on the Govt Side do the coordination with DCMA, based on our input to the FAR Clauses, that would alert, authorize or require coordination by DCMA to have the Inspections take place at this location? We are not 100% certain if we have to secure this support from DCMA to do the inspections at this location prior to submitting our proposal, or if this coordination takes place after award.

R2: You will need to coordinate with DCMA after award.

Q3: DCMA Transportation – We understand the Govt will pick up the parts from this location.

We would need to use the DCMA Trans system, submit a SIR etc to have the parts picked

up. Do you or someone else on the Govt side create or establish a DODAAC for this location, if one does not already exist? Facility Codes, DODAACs, or other information is used in the DCMA system to designate a physical addresses. It is our belief that these types of details would be supported, coordinated and arranged by the Govt as a part of an actual award being issued. Our ability to comply with some of these requirements is dependent on Govt activity and support post award.

R3: This would be worked thru at the time of award.

Q4: ….only company we know that has the capability is Standard Aero. Standard Aero is an approved FAA repair house for these items. Would you and your group entertain using Standard Aero as a repair source?

R4: You will need to send in a SAR for review so we can determine if they are suitable for repair of the FINS.
