About this file

This is a Questions & Answers document for solicitation SPRTA1-25-R-0133 regarding Support, Turbine Nozzle (NSN: 2840-01-224-4243PN, PN: 9529M97G15) for the F108 engine.

The Q&A clarifies two key points: 1) The only acceptable output part number is 9529M97G15 (from CAGE 58828 and 07482), though other part numbers listed can be used as input candidates if they have a Technical Order directed path to produce the required part number, and 2) Only government-approved repair sources can be used, specifically CFMI International (58828) and General Electric Company (07482). While other sources can submit Source Approval Request (SAR) packages, the contract award will not be delayed pending SAR approvals.

R1: The only acceptable output P/N is 9529M97G15 (CAGE 58828 and 07482). If you have a T.O. directed path to make any of the other part #’s you submitted, a final output of 9529M97G15, any of them are input candidates.

Q2: Do we need to use a government approved repair source but there are other FAA approved repair sources we could use?

R2: Yes you need to use government approved repair source. The only sources currently approved by the Government for the repair are CFMI International (58828) and General Electric Company (07482). You can have other sources you are interested in submit a repair Source Approval Request (SAR) package for consideration. However, the award will not be delayed pending any SAR package approvals.
