Soluble and total metal content, carbonates, and gypsum levels must conform to MIL-PRF-22262 specifications, with carbonates and gypsum testing limited to 0.01% acceptance levels when alternative testing is used. Cross gamma radioactivity shall not exceed 20.0 picocuries per gram, with no more than 0.05 picocuries per gram attributable to cobalt-60; guidance on radioactivity requirements may be obtained from Navy Environment Preventative Medicine Units or Navy Regional Medical Centers. Required documentation includes Material Safety Data Sheets (Exhibit A, Sequence A001) and Certificate of Quality Conformance (Exhibit A, Sequence A002).
