About this file

This document provides details for two federal contract opportunities issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support. The agency is soliciting proposals for Tailored Logistics Support Prime Vendor contracts to supply maintenance, repair, and operation items to customers in the South Central United States. The region is divided into two zones, with Zone 1 covering Texas and Louisiana, and Zone 2 covering Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas. Offerors may bid on one or both zones. If awarded Zone 2, the offeror will be excluded from competing for Zone 1.

The contracts will have a base period of five years each. Zone 1 is estimated at $30 million annually with a total value of $225 million. Zone 2 is estimated at $21 million annually with a total value of $158 million. Required products include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, tools, chemicals, lubricants, construction materials, perimeter security, and communication devices. Proposals will be evaluated using a best value tradeoff process, with non-price factors being more important than price. Pricing will be based on ceiling prices and labor rates. The closing date for proposals is February 3, 2014, with an anticipated award date not specified.
