Construction:
Cold rolled steel construction features bends and forming throughout components to add strength where needed for a robust construction.
•Welded case construction with welded seam on top and bottom front corners.
•Fully enclosed bottom includes a base stiffener in 3, 4 and 5 drawer units for improved case rigidity, which is welded into the case assembly.
•Front and rear vertical uprights are formed and welded to case sides.
•Four and five drawer units include an interior horizontal crosspiece.
•Storage area doors have welded stiffeners for added rigidity.
•Knockouts are present in top of cabinets for ganging units side to side or back to back, 1 per side and 2 on the back. Hardware is included.
Drawer/Shelf Construction:
Drawer body is constructed of a one piece bottom-back, mechanically fastened to drawer sides.

Finish:
Steel parts are finished with a baked enamel over a rust-inhibiting phosphate pre-treatment.
Features:
Brigade® 800 Series Lateral Files are telescoping suspension files with full depth drawers, available in 30”, 36” and 42” widths and 2, 3, 4 or 5 drawer configurations. Laterals are available with roll out shelves and receding doors, or with fixed front drawers. Drawers accommodate letter, legal and A4 sized filing.
A lateral with storage is also available in all three widths, and consists of a five high lateral case with two lateral file drawers on bottom and a storage area on top. Two adjustable shelves are included.
Shelves are adjustable in 2” increments utilizing two 11-5/16” front to back shelf brackets per shelf.
Mechanical interlock provides a drawer extension restraint to prevent extension of two or more drawers at the same time.
Five drawer models have a roll-out shelf in the top opening. Roll-out shelves have receding doors with four door bumpers. Two glass-reinforced nylon roller assemblies operate receding doors. Bottom drawer of roll out shelf models is a fixed front drawer.
