About this file

This file is a detailed specifications document for the Buffalo VA Medical Center Parking Ramp Expansion project, located at 3495 Bailey Avenue in Buffalo, NY. The project involves expanding an existing three-level parking structure by adding two new parking levels, constructing a new stair tower with two elevators, and making associated site improvements. Key project elements include adding approximately 53,000 gross square feet of parking per new level, reconfiguring roadways and accessible parking, and performing restoration work on existing parking structure levels.

The project specifications are comprehensive, covering multiple divisions including site work, concrete, masonry, metals, electrical, and commissioning requirements. The contract number is 36C24222C0022, with a station project number of 528-375. The project includes several potential deduct options that could modify the scope, such as removing specific site work, vinyl graphics, photovoltaic canopies, exterior screening, and structural restoration elements. The specifications indicate a target budget range of approximately $24M to $25M, though the government cannot guarantee additional funding beyond this amount. The project is designed to improve parking capacity and circulation at the Buffalo VA Medical Center.
