About this file

This document is a technical specification sheet for the MGL EX1T Tracked Primary Scalping Screen, developed by MGL Engineering located in Lakeland, Florida. The MGL EX1T is a heavy-duty, high-capacity portable screening and conveying unit designed for versatile applications including sand and gravel processing, crushed stone handling, demolition debris sorting, recycling, and topsoil screening. The machine features an 8' x 10' two-deck, high-amplitude screenbox with a bi-level upper deck incorporating a 5" step, capable of processing up to 800 tons per hour depending on material and mesh sizes.

The machine is powered by an 85 HP Kubota turbo diesel engine and equipped with Strickland DK404 tracks that enable transport across various terrains. Key technical specifications include a total weight of approximately 43,500 lbs, overall dimensions of 10' wide by 35' long, and a transport height of 11'5". The screening unit includes interchangeable lower deck screen panels, a 60" discharge conveyor with heavy skirting to prevent spillage, and comes standard with a remote control for safe tracking. The manufacturer offers a 1-year or 1000-hour warranty, whichever comes first, and the machine is designed for easy maintenance with multiple access panels.

MGL EXl T Technical Specifications

The MGL EX1T is a heavy-duty, high-capacity portable primary scalping and conveying unit.

Used in many applications from aggregates and top soils to C&D recycling, the MGL EX1T is designed and built for versatility.

Screening Unit:

The MGL EX1T features an 8' x 10' two-deck, high-amplitude screenbox.

The bi-level upper deck incorporates a 5" step and heavy-duty½" abrasion resistant punchplate/grizzly fingers to withstand the rigors of demolition concrete. A 4" split on the top-deck is standard; however, a heavy-duty welded mesh screen option of any size is available.

The lower deck consists of interchangeable mesh screen panels.

Vibrating action is provided by eccentric screen shafts and adjustable flywheel weights.

Power Unit:

Power is provided by an 85 HP Kubota turbo diesel engine. The engine, hydraulic/fuel tanks, hydraulic valves, and battery are enclosed and mounted above the front chassis assembly opposite of the conveyor end. Multiple panels make for easy maintenance access. A 12-volt twin fan oil cooler also comes standard.

Hopper and Conveyor:

Material is directed from the lower screen deck to the collection/stockpiling conveyor via steel plate and heavy skirting to prevent spillage. The screened material is collected and stockpiled by a 60" wide, 3-ply, vulcanized belt moving at 250-300 ft/min. The fully skirted conveyor stockpiles to 9' and is fit with a urethane scraper.

Transport:

The MGL EX1T is outfitted with a pair of Strickland DK404 tracks running at a track speed of 1.25 Mph. The EX1T is road transportable when tracked on to a double drop

R.G.N. trailer and properly permitted. Transport height above trailer deck is 11'-5" and transport width is 1 0'.

Operation:

High production rates of up to 800 TPH can be achieved when loading material correctly.

There are many applications and variations which can alter production results. The machine comes standard with a remote control that allows for safe and easy tracking.

Warranty:

The MGL EX1T comes with a 1 year or 1000 hour warranty (whichever comes first).
