About this file

The document outlines the Specific Terms and Conditions for a state-level contract opportunity in Alabama. The contract is being issued by the State of Alabama and seeks to establish a 12-month contract, with options to extend for up to five additional 12-month periods, for tower maintenance and repairs on a statewide basis. The contract will be awarded to up to three responsible bidders that meet all specifications. Bidders must provide unit pricing and a supplier part number, or indicate "N/A" if a part number is not applicable. The contract period may be extended upon written approval of both the state and the vendor, with any price increases capped at 5% and requiring justifiable proof in writing.

The pricing terms stipulate that the bid is F.O.B. destination, and any freight charges must be included in the bid prices. Vendors may be required to provide documentation of being an authorized manufacturer's representative for the products listed, and failure to do so may result in rejection of the bid. Suppliers are encouraged to refer to the "Alabama Buys Supplier Support" training materials to assist with the electronic submission process.
