1.2 AoI Background

The RRAD vehicle test track is a one-mile oval shaped track used for operational testing of tactical and combat vehicles produced by the Depot. A camera monitoring system was previously installed around the perimeter of the track to monitor test vehicle traffic, provide recording in case of accidents, and control entry/exit to the center storage area of the track. The test track control and video monitoring station is located in a building at the North end of the track. The camera system is currently out of service due to being struck by lightning. RRAD is seeking potential commercial options to facilitate the replacement or refurbishment of the entire camera monitoring system.

1.3 Camera System Details

The current system consists of fourteen (14) pole-mounted cameras placed around the perimeter of the track that are connected via fiber optics and routed back to the track monitoring station for viewing and recording. The system is not connected to any other internal RRAD network. RRAD seeks commercial options for modernizing and bringing the complete system back into service. All options from partial replacement to complete replacement will be considered.

2. AoI Constraints

1. Any selected company/companies will be required to be registered in the System for Award Maintenance (sam.gov).
