Clarifications Questions and Answers

Solicitation SPE603-21-R-0507 Maxwell AFB, AL

Reference Questions/Answers #8 and updated PWS Appendix M Supplement to C-5.2.4 Product Issues: The government states the contractor “delivers” ground products to Gunter Annex approximately 5-6 times annually per grade (MUR/GUR). Please clarify/confirm this information as there is no assigned MUR/GUR C-300. We assume this is a mistake and you meant the contractor orders/receives commercial TT deliveries at Gunter Annex?

Also, please clarify the remark “per grade” in the answer to question #8, since the PWS Appendix M only shows GUR tanks at the MSS.

Clarification Answer- The Contractor shall deliver ground products to Gunter Annex approximately 5-6 times annually per grade MUR/GUR and Diesel.

Reference Question/Answer #36: The government response implies the contractor must pay (without reimbursement) for the fuel used in the Government Provided R-11s and C-300 fueling vehicles, is this correct? If so, confirm we may request a Fuel Purchase Agreement (FPA)?

Please provide the average historical fuel consumption/usage (request at least 2 years) so we can accurately price this requirement.

Clarification Answer- See section C-5.8.1.4 of the PWS.

The Average historical fuel consumption/usage for the past two years; the Special

Purpose vehicles used approximately 800 gals of ground fuel.

Reference Table M-1: Applicable Section C-5 Subparagraphs provided in Appendix M. C-5.8.1.4 Contractor Special Purpose Vehicles is marked YES as being Applicable. Please confirm this is correct, and if so, clarify/define what special purpose vehicles are required.

Clarification Answer – Contractor Special Purpose Vehicles marked YES has been revised.

See Section C-5 Subparagraphs provided in Appendix M. C-5.8.1.4
