About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation SPE60125R0303 for JP-10 and PF-1 propellants, issued by DLA Energy Aerospace Energy. The amendment extends the proposal due date to March 25, 2025 at 3:00 PM Central Time and adds a new line item (0006) for a Transition Plan for Legacy DLA-Owned Into-stock Product with period of performance June 16-July 15, 2025.
The amendment provides responses to 15 industry questions clarifying key details: the award will be made to a single contractor rather than split among multiple bidders; there are no metallurgy requirements for JP-10 tanks though plastic containers are not authorized; historical order quantities are provided (e.g., bulk JP-10 ranged from 110,000-218,000 gallons annually); typical shipment quantities are 1,200-5,000 gallons for JP-10 and 55-gallon drums for PF-1; after First Article Testing, samples may be tested by DLA-approved local labs; DLA will handle logistics for international shipments; and contractors may maintain their commercial customer base while meeting government requirements. The amendment also includes revised versions of the Statement of Objectives, Pricing Worksheet, and FAR 52.212-1 and 52.212-2 addenda.
