TOTM - Minuteman Graphic.docx

This document is a Solicitation for the Tailored Operational Training Meal (TOTM) under Solicitation Number SPE3S124R0007. The TOTM is an alternative operational training meal intended to provide units with a pre-packed meal similar to the Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE) to aid in training, but at a lower cost. The TOTM is not an MRE and is not designed to replace the MRE. The Solicitation is issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence. The purpose of the TOTM is to provide an alternative to "sack lunches" and catered commercial meals for organizations engaged in inactive duty training (IDT) where traditional operational ration meals are not required. The TOTM employs commercial packaging to reduce costs compared to the standard MRE.
