| Vendor Questions | Government Responses | |
Please advise what is the closing date of this RFQ, as on the attachments there are both dates of 26 and 27 April 2020 | The correct closing date of this solicitation is 27 April 2020. The closing date has been fixed in Attachment 1.1, 52.212-1 and 52.212-2, Addendum.
The yearly ordering volume reported on the schedule of items is calculated over the sum of all the customers. Could you please provide the volumes per customer or per zone if possible? | The volumes included in Attachment 1.4 are based upon historical averages and include products historically offered across Southern Europe. The offeror is required to propose against the schedule as provided.
We will most probably utilize several FFV producers in each zone/area. How would you like us to quote the product prices in this case? Would you like us to make an average of all the product prices among the producers for the same zone? | How an offeror proposes is a company business decision. Please see 52.212-2 Addendum - Amend 01.
Will the product price changes be allowable every second week during the contract duration? Would we make an average of all the product prices for changes every second week? | Yes, the price changes will be allowable every second week through the duration of the contract. Any changes would be a reflection of product price changes over a two-week span. Please reference Attachment 1.2, Terms and Conditions, Section VI - Pricing and Payment, paragraph 2.b., "The Contracting Officer will perform Fair & Reasonable determination on a bi-weekly basis after the new 832 is updated. If prices can’t be determined fair and reasonable, the vendor shall provide invoices from their sources upon request from the Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist."
What is the rationale between the splitting of the two zones? | The decision to split the required servicing area into two zones was a Government strategic decision made to better serve customers.
