About this file

This document is Amendment 0002 to Solicitation SP800-25-Q-0006 for Nomex fibers, issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Columbus Division. The amendment updates the Performance Work Statement by modifying the buffer fiber amounts for various Nomex fiber types, reducing the total from 258,000 to 200,000 pounds. The amendment also adds mandatory Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses related to ordering, including specifications for minimum and maximum order quantities (35,000 lbs minimum, 300,000 lbs maximum), contract duration (4 years from contract award date), and the designation of a task-order and delivery-order Ombudsman (Matt Ryan) to review contractor complaints and ensure fair opportunity for order consideration.
