SP8000-18-Q-0001

Forklift Rental- Hammond, IN

Questions and Answers

1. Question: SOW says it needs to lift 186”, which is pretty standard, but then the lowered height has to be 85.5” on a 6k lb. truck pneumatic tire truck. We use a triple mast (like every other manufacturer) but it lifts to 187” and has a lowered height of 90.9” on a 6k truck. Would this work for your application?

Answer: Yes, that would work.

2. Question: Regarding the fuel, the CLIN says “gas,” but are you referring to LP or gasoline?

Answer: Gas or LP will both work for us. Our current forklifts are both.

3. Question: Is the contractor expected to cover the Propane usage?

Answer: No

4. Question: How many hours per day do you plan on running the forklift?

Answer: 6-8 hours per day on average

5. Question: How many days per week do they plan on running the forklift?

Answer: 5 days, Monday-Friday

6. Question: Does it have to be brand new or can it be used?

Answer: Either is fine.
