Questions and Answers.

C.1 General Intention (beginning of paragraph 2) Monthly change out requirements: Do we choose rotation plants? Does DLA has a current schedule (list) of plant species used each month?

A: Vendor provides suggested plants for COR approval.

C.1 General Intention (2nd paragraph last few sentences) When does DLA need Replica plants and flowers replaced? It states during the performance of contract, but not which year.

C.2.1.1 States that contractor shall change out the seasonal replica/flowers 3x a year and provide storage of replicas not being used. Are they belongs to the contractor or DLA? What are their current conditions? (Since the current seasonal rotations being stored by current vendor, we have no access to that.)

A: Current condition irrelevant since they are to be replaced during the base year. The exception is the poinsettias which are 3 years old and will be transferred to the awarded vendor for reuse. All plants are the property of DLA C. 11. 3 What are sizes of “Large” and “Medium” Trees? Are they hinged or hooked branches? When is the Holiday Theme picked? When are vendors allowed to get into Holiday Decor to begin assessment before season starts (not decorating season)?

- Large plants are 72” minimum height from top of container, medium plants are 36” minimum height from top of container

- Medium and large trees are live, neither hinged nor hooked

- Holiday decoration theme/color scheme is proposed by the vendor in the late spring / early summer to provide time to order supplemental decorations. For the base year, proposal should be within the first 30 days after award.

- All stored plants and decorations will be transferred to the awarded vendor within 30 days of contract award.

Attachment B: We can’t locate the manufacturer Alle’. We also cannot find container or product number. Is there any other vendor info DLA can pass along?

· Existing containers are DLA property and will remain in use. If replacement is required, then vendor shall identify similar product for COR approval prior to purchase.
