About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding Solicitation Number SP4704-23-Q-0058 from the Defense Logistics Agency for DCAA DRMO Services and Furniture in Alaska. The solicitation seeks to procure furniture including 10 conference chairs along with wireless access services. It does not require Connectrac under carpet wiring as originally stated in the solicitation. The Defense Logistics Agency cannot issue a letter of authorization for contractors to access General Services Administration contract pricing. Additional details such as dimensions are not provided for pricing the Connectrac requirement, so it has been removed from the statement of work. The amended statement of work and a site furniture plan are to be referenced for requirements.

SP4704-23-Q-0058 DCAA Alaska Sub Office Questions & Answers
Q1) Many of the products being requested are on GSA Contract. Will DLA provide a Letter of Authorization for the contractor to access the GSA Contract pricing on the Government’s behalf?
A1) No, DLA cannot issue a Letter of Authorization based on the policy provided under FAR 51.101. This section would not apply to a firm-fixed price purchase/task/delivery order.
Q2) The Wireless Access Plan Map supplied with the RFQ shows 14 chairs in the conference room. The furniture items requested in the SOW states 10 conference chairs are to be supplied. How many conference chairs are needed for this project?
A2) 10 chairs are required in accordance with the SOW.
Q3) The Wireless Access Plan Map supplied with the RFQ shows 2 Private offices. One of the offices is shown with a round conferencing table with 3 chairs in the office. However, these items are not shown in the furniture required for the project. Are these Items to be included in our response?
A3) No. The Wireless Access Plan map is for wireless access, not for furniture.
Q4) There is a requirement in this RFQ to supply (1) conference room - Connectrac - under carpet wire system. There are no schematics provided with the RFQ that defines the dimensions of the track required or other technical information needed for this item to be appropriately priced. Can you please provide the “technical” requirements for this item? If this information is not available, we would ask DLA/DCAA remove this from the RFQ requirements and have the General Contractor supply the solution under the construction contract. In most situation, the General Contractor is responsible for this type of solution so the product can be integrated into the construction process and installed by the project electrician, prior to the carpet being installed.
A4) This requirement (Connectract) was removed from the SOW, see amended SOW.
Q5) Can DCAA provide the CADs of the building?
A5) See furniture plan provided with the SOW, see amended SOW.
