About this file
This document contains a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a federal contract opportunity related to soffit repair at Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) Building 70. The Q&A addresses key contractor inquiries including confirmation that no bid bond is required, clarification on quality control management, utility considerations, electrical access, and specific repair scope. The responses indicate that only the North and South soffits will be repaired, excluding East and West Eaves, and contractors are instructed to take their own measurements. Electrical access is limited to outside outlets only, with no internal outlet usage permitted due to potential trip hazards. Contractors are also directed to reference the Statement of Work Section 6.b for details on QC Manager requirements and are advised that no hidden utilities are known to exist beyond those physically visible from the building's exterior.
