About this file

This document is a contract amendment for the AED Maintenance and Testing solicitation (SP4701-24-Q-0099). The amendment incorporates responses to questions received, including information about the age and shelf-life of the current AED units. The amendment clarifies that the agency is not looking to replace the existing AED units, and all other terms and conditions remain the same.

The underlying solicitation is for AED maintenance and testing services to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) at the Naval Support Activity in Philadelphia. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, and labor to ensure AED services are performed in accordance with the contract requirements. Only individuals certified in AED procedures by the American Heart Association are permitted to use the public access AEDs.
