52.237-1 Site Visit
As prescribed in 37.110(a), insert the following provision:
SITE VISIT (APR 1984)
Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

• The Closing date for proposal has been extended to December 26, 2023 @ 12:00 p.m.
• What is the number of hours each month the previous contractor spent on site to provide the pest services to all areas outlined within the scope of service?
a. Contractor shall be on site daily (Monday thru Friday)
b. Contractor shall be on site daily working hours 8:00AM to 2:00PM (Daily Mon -Friday)
c. Contractor shall sign-in/out with Contracting Officer Rep.
d. Contractor shall submit daily issues, responses, recommendations and resolutions to
Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
• How many service requests have occurred in the past 24 months?
a. Service requests are on an as required need to the gov’t.
• Can the government confirm that the service frequency is weekly?
a. Service is required as needed (daily) 8:00am thru 2:00pm
• Has the government issued any CURE or Notice of Correction for pest control services over the past 24 month at this location?
a. Contractor will inspect, submit and forward discrepancies to Government COR.
• How many service requests for nuisance pests have there been in the past 24 months?
a. All service requests are addressed on a as required basis.
• How many service requests for live animal removal have there been in the past 24 months?
a. DLA Troop Support requested services are on an Animal friendly basis.
b. Removal shall be to an animal friendly site (Park and/ or Forrest).
• How many service requests for winged animals have there been in the past 24 months?
a. Request for winged animals occur as needed,
• Can the government clarify the licenses required to perform pest control services under this solicitation?
Department of Environmental Protection Licensing and Pesticide Operation
a. All pesticide shall be friendly to pest and humans,
b. Pesticides shall not be toxic to pest and or employees.
c. Outdoor spraying shall be discussed and agreed upon with the Contractor and the COR prior to utilization.
