About this file
This document is an Amendment (Amendment 1) to Solicitation SP4510-25-Q-1044 for Radiation Gate Monitor Calibration services issued by DLA Disposition Services. The amendment, effective 7/18/2025, provides answers to potential offerors' questions regarding calibration services for radiation gate monitors across CONUS and OCONUS locations. The procurement is structured as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract under NAICS 541990, set aside exclusively for small businesses.
Key details include calibration service requirements with specific timeline expectations: CONUS location calibrations must be completed within 60 days of task order, while OCONUS locations have a 120-day completion window. The government intends to issue staggered task orders to prevent simultaneous calibration demands. The solicitation covers radiation gate monitors at multiple locations, with flexibility for contractors to potentially complete multiple site calibrations during a single trip, particularly for geographically clustered locations like those in Japan. Quotes are to be submitted via email to the designated Contracting Officer by the specified date.

The purpose of this amendment is to answer the below offeror questions, and to update the equipment list under Attachment 3.
1. For the annual calibration would I have schedule flexibility? In other words, would I be able to let’s say do all the Japan ones during the same trip?
a. Answer: This will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, the calibrations will be ordered through a funded task order. There is no guarantee that all the calibrations on the equipment list will be ordered. If a task order lists RAD monitors at multiple locations in Japan, then it is expected that all the ones in Japan would be calibrated during the same trip.
2. Are all the locations due calibration? If so, what sort of timeline would I be excited to get them all done? I mean it’s conceivable they would all want service at the same time seeing as they are all due.
a. Answer: Currently annual calibrations are due at most locations. Section 3e of the Performance
Work Statement (PWS) states complete calibration services at CONUS locations no later than 60 days after date of task order and OCONUS locations no later than 120 days after date of task order.
It is the Governments intent to issue staggered task orders / calibrations.
