About this file

This document outlines the terms for a hazardous waste removal and disposal contract opportunity. The solicitation will be issued within the next two to three weeks for the removal, transportation, and disposal of various hazardous, non-hazardous, and regulated wastes located at over 100 pickup points across Washington and Oregon, including Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Fairchild Air Force Base, Fort Lewis, and Air National Guard sites. The contract will have approximately 680 line items covering special services such as lab packing and analysis, as well as profile-based waste streams including batteries, corrosives, flammables, compressed gas, non-RCRA, PCBs, and recycling. Standard removal timeframes range from 5 to 21 days depending on the waste type. The base period of performance will be 30 months from award, with an option for an additional 30-month extension. Questions on the forthcoming solicitation must be submitted within 14 days of issuance.
