About this file
This document provides instructions for contractors to obtain base access at Kingsley Field in Oregon in order to perform work for the Air National Guard. It outlines the requirements and process for submitting a police background check, valid identification, and completion of anti-terrorism training. Contractors must allow one to two weeks for vetting and will receive a base access identification card upon approval. The document specifies contact information for the civil engineering office to coordinate all base access and provides a form for contractors to submit relevant details, such as company information, project details, and team members requiring access. It also includes guidance on complying with the Real ID Act and lists acceptable forms of identification for various states. Annual renewal of the anti-terrorism training is required along with returning identification cards when base access is no longer needed or credentials expire.
This notice announces an upcoming solicitation for hazardous waste removal, transportation and disposal services at Department of Defense installations across Washington and Oregon, including Joint Base Lewis-McChord and Fairchild Air Force Base. The solicitation will be issued within two to three weeks and remain open for bidding for 30 days. Questions must be received within 14 days of issuance. Services will include management, lab packing, analysis, container and tank cleaning for over 680 contract line items covering waste streams such as batteries, corrosives, compressed gas and recycling. The base contract period is 30 months with an option to extend an additional 30 months. The Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services will oversee the contract.
