About this file
This file contains details for a federal solicitation seeking hazardous waste removal and disposal services at multiple Department of Defense installations in Washington and Oregon. The solicitation will be issued within the next two to three weeks by the Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services for a one base period of thirty months plus one option period of thirty months. Services required include the removal, transportation and disposal of RCRA hazardous wastes, non-RCRA wastes, TSCA wastes, state-regulated wastes, non-state regulated wastes, universal wastes, compressed gas cylinders, and polychlorinated biphenyls located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Fairchild AFB, Fort Lewis, and Air National Guard sites. There are approximately 100 pickup points and 680 contract line items covering special services such as management, lab packing, analysis and testing, container and tank cleaning, as well as profile-based waste streams including batteries, corrosives, flammables, compressed gases, non-RCRA, PCBs, and recycling. The standard removal timeframe is 21 days for containerized waste, 5 days for bulk liquid, and 7 days for bulk solids unless otherwise specified. Questions regarding the solicitation must be received in writing within 14 days of issuance.
