AMENDMENT 3
This purpose of this amendment is to: 1) answer additional clarifying questions.
The proposal due date is extended until 17 March 2014.
Questions:
1. On TX17, TX19 & TX20 - What is considered Listed? Will there be U, P, and /or K codes?
ANSWER 1: The current process generating the bulk waste is not producing any U, P, or K codes. The containerized waste may have these codes, as the waste will be generated from multiple sites.
2. On Clin NR98 - There is no C7 listed on the master bid schedule and if C7 is present it should be in LBS or should it be C6 instead (that would make more sense)
ANSWER 2: Please change the quantity of C7 to 500 and C6 to 100 for all three performance periods.
3. On Clin NR99 - On C7, 5lbs was stated, over 4 million pounds were shipped on the current contract according to the BA Summary. Is this correct?
ANSWER 3: Please change the quantity to 5000 lbs for each performance period. The old quantity is correct. However, due to internal process changes, this waste will not be sent out via the HW disposal contract.
4. Will M256A1, M272 water test kits, and M18A3 be ordered under FL99? If so, will a high mercury surcharge be ordered with those items? Otherwise, this is a very difficult CLIN to price.
ANSWER 4: The listed kits may be ordered under FL99, but limited quantities are anticipated. No high mercury surcharge will be ordered.
5. NR98 includes disposal at a DEMIL at a subtitle D landfill. What “DEMIL” would a subtitle D be able to provide that would fulfill the requirement for DEMIL?
ANSWER 5: Disposal within the 'inherently secure arms' of either a RCRA subtitle C or D landfill will meet the demil requirements for NR98.
6. Will JEAP be returning to Columbus? How was the volume of NR98 determined?
ANSWER 6: No. Items fitting this description, not going through the JEAP program, may be disposed of under NR98.
Nothing follows.
