Amendment 0001

Amendment 0001 is incorporated into solicitation SP3300-17-R-0008.

Amendment 0001 is being issued to answer vendor questions seen below.

Vendor Questions:

Question 1: Attachment B and C are password protected and can't be opened without password.

Do you have the password?

Answer 1: These forms are not required for proposal purposes. When a contract is issued, they are required to request construction badges for contractor personnel. Password will be provided at time of award.

Question 2: Has a contractor performed similar work to this for the government in the past?

If available, please provide the incumbent contract number.

Answer 2: This is a follow on contract. Previous contract holders are York Excavating Company -contract SP3300-12-D-0007, Rogele, Inc. - contract SP3300-12-D-0008 and Senate Builders and Construction Managers, Inc. - contract number SP3300-12-D-0009.

Question 3: If you are unable to provide a contract number, is it safe to assume this is a new requirement for the government?

Answer 3: See answer 2.

Question 4: Can I do a site visit?

Answer 4: The site visit was held as established in the solicitation, there will only be that one site visit.

Question 5: Does the guaranteed minimum of $5,000.00 apply for each yr. or only the first yr.?

Answer 5: The minimum guarantee applies to only the first year. The guaranteed minimum of $5,000.00 will be awarded within one (1) year from the date of the initial ID/IQ contract, provided the ID/IQ Contractor does not receive any task orders meeting the minimum contract guarantee during that period of time, and the contractor submits a proposal on at least forty (40) percent of the Notice of Proposed Task Order Request for Proposal Forms issued during year one.

Question 6: How many three ring binders do we need to submit for Volume I? Proposal Preparation Requirements states that Volume I needs 1EA original and 3 EA copies. Should we submit Volume I in one binder or separate binders for the original and three copies?

Answer 6: Volume I needs 4 three ring binders, 1 original and 3 copies. The original and copies should be separate binders for each Volume I.

Question 7: Task Order 0001: Please confirm that the extent of the proposed perimeter roadway is to match the limits of the existing roadway? Sheet 5 of 5, Perimeter Access Typical Section Detail, Note 2- indicates that the existing roadway widths should remain unchanged.

Answer 7: It is the intent of the design to maintain the width of the existing Perimeter Access.

Question 8: Task Order 0001: Sheet 5 of 5, Concrete Lined Swale Detail, Note 2- references specification section 32 16 13.00 10, concrete sidewalks, curbs and curbs and gutters. This section is missing from the standard specification.

Answer 8: Section 32 16 13.00 10 – Concrete Sidewalks, Curbs, and Curbs and Gutters is in the Standard Specifications, Attachment J, page 427.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
