SP3300-17-Q-0060

Amendment 0002

1. This amendment 0002 is hereby incorporated into solicitation SP3300-17-Q-0060 and shall become a part of any resultant contract.

A. The following are responses to contractor submitted questions:

1. The Performance Work Statement states that quantitative fit testing must be conducted annually for 150 employees under the respiratory protection program. Can the quantitative fit testing be performed all at once on an annual, biannual, or quarterly basis, or must it be provided continuously throughout the year?

Answer: The quantitative fit testing must be able to be performed continuously throughout the year due to emergent projects, deployments, and other time sensitive tasks in which personnel need to be fit tested immediately.

2. Attachment 4 indicates that approximately 15 indoor air quality evaluations are conducted annually. Do these indoor air quality assessments require a quantitative assessment utilizing equipment such as an indoor air quality data logger, Summa canister, or other type of testing equipment?

Answer: Yes, these indoor air quality assessments do require a quantitative assessment utilizing equipment such as an indoor air quality data logger, Summa canister, and other types of testing equipment.

3. Will the contractor have access to any government vehicle for transport on the facility or other contract-related tasks?

Answer: No, the Government will not provide a vehicle for transport. Reference Section 1.2 of the PWS, “The Contractor shall provide all supervision/management, personnel, facilities, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation…”

2. Note 7 on page 1 of the solicitation is revised to correct the page and clause order as follows:

7. INVOICING AND PAYMENT – Invoicing and Payment will be made via Wide Area WorkFlow. See DFARS Clauses 252.232-7003 found on page 35 and 252.232-7006 found on page 36 of the RFQ.

3. Section 1.0 Background, paragraph 1 on page 1 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is corrected to read:

1.0 Background. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is the largest logistics support agency in the United States (U.S.) Department of Defense (DoD). The DLA Director reports to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (USD AT&L) through the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics and Materiel Readiness (ASD L&MR). DLA provides worldwide logistics support, acquisition, and technical services for the military services, other federal and civilian agencies, and partner nations in peacetime and wartime.

The word “for” before “the military” in the last sentence of the paragraph was erroneously omitted. A revised PWS (5/15/ 2017 Revision) is attached to this amendment 0002.
