About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a water main extension project for the Pawhuska Indian Village in Osage County, Oklahoma. The project involves furnishing and installing a 4-inch diameter PVC water main on Littlewing Ave, with specific requirements for pipe materials (PVC 1120 pressure pipe), installation depth of 30 inches, and strict specifications for trench preparation, water and sewer line separation, and testing. Key technical requirements include using PVC Class 160 SDR 26 or Class 200 SDR 21 pipe for pressures up to 125 psi, maintaining proper vertical separation between water and sewer lines, and conducting comprehensive testing and disinfection procedures.
The contractor must provide a one-year warranty, contact the Project Engineer three business days before starting work, and perform all installation under licensed personnel. The project involves precise installation standards, including thrust blocking at direction changes, bedding specifications, leak testing (not exceeding 10 gal/inch diameter per mile), and complete disinfection following AWWA C651 standards. Closeout activities include site restoration and providing record drawings to the Project Engineer, with all work to be completed to meet the technical specifications outlined in the document.
