About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for Vision Measurement Systems issued by the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program. The procurement seeks to acquire a minimum of one and a maximum of four Vision Measurement Systems through a competitive 3-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The system is a highly accurate calibration standard used to calibrate thread ring gages, thread setting plugs, thread plug gages, weld fillet gages, and screw thread micrometers.

Key requirements include complete installation of the first system, one day of training for up to 10 persons at the Fleet Readiness Center Jacksonville Calibration Lab, and multiple deliverables such as an operator/service manual, calibration certification, instrument calibration procedure, software/firmware documentation, and a repairable parts list. The manufacturer must provide a minimum one-year commercial warranty, unique serial numbers, and Item Unique Identification (IUID) labeling for each system. The period of performance is 3 years from the contract award date, with performance located at Fleet Readiness Center South East in Jacksonville, Florida, and shipping to a facility in Beaufort, South Carolina.
