About this file
This Statement of Work details interior floor refinishing for approximately 2,200 square feet of concrete flooring, excluding the server room. The project involves comprehensive floor restoration using a high-performance epoxy primer and finish system, with specific technical requirements including:
Surface preparation involves commercial diamond grinding to remove existing sealer, followed by a prime coat of General Polymer 3579 Epoxy Primer applied at 150 ft² per converted gallon. The finish coat will use General Polymer 3746 Epoxy applied at 100 ft² per converted gallon, with a notched squeegee and back roll technique. Additional steps include removing and reinstalling resilient cove base, filling expansion joints with RS-88 Polyurea joint filler, and performing touch-ups as needed. The United States Government (USG) will handle furniture and floor item removal and reinstallation prior to contractor mobilization, with the final solid color to be determined.
