The contractor must provide two high-efficiency RAB LED light fixtures (AB#X17XFU60 or equal) with external illumination, photocell option, and underground hard power connection. Materials must include aluminum fabrication with painted finishes, comply with the Buy American Act, and meet design specifications for wind loads, thermal movement, and structural integrity as verified by a licensed structural engineer. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, site preparation, safety compliance per OSHA standards, disposal of removed materials, and preservation of existing vegetation. Sign painting requires an industrial DTM primer coat (2.0-3.0 mils DFT) and two topcoats of low-VOC, semi-gloss interior/exterior coating (2.0-4.0 mils DFT per coat). The contractor must submit construction schedules, shop drawings with fabrication details, design calculations, product data, and a finishing material board (24 inches by 17 inches) for DPW Architect approval prior to work commencement. A one-year warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials is required, with all repairs fully covered. The period of performance is 90 working days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) issuance. Failure to meet the completion deadline will result in a negative performance evaluation. Required attachments include Common Specifications, the Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan, NSSC Contractor Access Form, Accident Prevention and Safety Plan Table of Contents, Site Plan, and design drawings for reference.
