The USFWS requires commercial moving services to relocate approximately 3,500 square feet of office and garage contents from 420 S. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, vehicles, tools, packing materials, and labor necessary to safely and efficiently complete the relocation. Site visits are scheduled for November 17-18, 2026, and prospective contractors are strongly encouraged to attend for realistic pricing. The SOW specifies that the contractor shall handle office furniture (modular workstations, desks, tables, chairs, file cabinets, shelving, and other items), information technology equipment (monitors, printers, laptops, computers, peripherals), office contents and supplies (books, files, records, sampling equipment, tools, and miscellaneous materials), and specialty items (taxidermy, fish replicas, wall-mounted items, and other delicate pieces). The contractor is prohibited from handling hazardous materials unless properly qualified, licensed, and authorized; the USFWS will arrange separate hazardous-material services if needed. Modular furniture must be disassembled with hardware organized and labeled to facilitate future reassembly. The contractor shall not reassemble furniture at the storage facility, disconnect electrical or utility connections, or dispose of any property unless specifically designated by the government. Quality control must ensure proper packing, labeling, protection during transport, organized storage, and cleanup of contractor-generated debris.
