(approximate size) modular building in the location as follows:
The approximate 60’ x 16’ x 9’Modular Building, Four Wall, Interior Offices, with a false floor system will have a minimum STC rating of 50. If any dimensions need to be increased to reach the STC rating of 50 than it must be the exterior dimensions. The interior room sizes must remain as stated below.
• 1 large office 16’x23.5 with two doors leading out of the modular
• 1 large office 16’x26’ with two doors leading out of the modular
• 2 small offices 8’x10’.5” connected leading into the large 16’x26’ office
• 10 fixed windows 4’Wx3’H
2.3.4 Color to be determined from standard color samples submitted to the
Project Manager.
2.3.5 All wall panels shall have a minimum R11 insulation value.
2.3.6 The roof shall be constructed at a minimum of 22 gauge, primed steel inter-nesting pans as a “roof” cover with closure fascia. The roof shall be free of support by columns within the structure, and shall be capable of supporting the suspended ceiling and lighting.
2.3.7 The roof shall be covered with R-19 insulation that must be attached to the roof.
2.3.8 The ceiling system shall consist of a complete Class "A" suspension system and acoustical material. The ceiling suspension system shall consist of a concealed assembly of structural members, including hardware and wall moldings as required to support the ceiling system with a maximum deflection of L/360 of the span. The ceiling shall be capable of incorporating lighting, HVAC, electronic and electrical system components, as necessary.
2.3.9 The ceiling system shall consist of white "T" grid system with 2' X 2' pattern. The ceiling shall be at minimum 5/8” thick, fine fissured, acoustical ceiling tiles. The finished height of the ceiling shall be no less than 7’-6” above finish floor.
2.3.10 The doors shall be 36"w X 84"h X 1 3/4" thick. The frame shall be pre-mortised for application of matching hinges and striker set of the door. The door shall be supplied with all necessary hardware as to meet local and state code requirements. The door shall be fabricated to include a tempered safety glass in the upper half. The window shall measure approximately 22"w X 36"h. Each door will include a sweep, threshold, satin chrome lever set and weather-stripping. All lever sets are lockable and shall be keyed alike.
2.3.11 Provide and install ten (10) windows. Each window shall be nominal 3’-8” wide X 3' high. The windows shall be installed so the sill height is 42" above finish floor, glazed with a clear tempered glass, and shall be an integral part of the wall panel. Ten (10) windows shall be non-opening and the entire window frames shall be painted.
2.3.12 Provide and install 2x4 flush mounted handy boxes at receptacle and switch locations, with a vertical void left in the wall panel. The switch and receptacle modules will run down the aforementioned void to the box. These modules consist of type MC cable with #12 AWG solid copper conductors. For switches and receptacles, the conductors tie into the apparatus in the usual fashion. Where the module exits at the top of the wall panel, the module will “plug” into a distribution or extender cable. As a circuit is filled, a "home run" is then made to a box above the drop ceiling over the breaker box.
2.3.13 Provide and install lighting power in a similar fashion to the electrical
(described in 2.3.16), with the exception that leads coming from the fixtures simply plug into the modules.
2.3.14 Provide and install wall switches; duplex receptacles; 2x2 lay-in fluorescent fixtures (100 fc at desk height). All electrical work must comply with the NEC (current edition).
