Statement of Work 12/12/2023

SCOPE OF WORK DESCRIPTION

Project Location:

Eglin AFB, FL 32542

Project Manager at Location:

Contractor to provide all compatible components necessary to:

•Remove power to existing condenser unit Model TCDV 251-A using proper lock out tag out procedures.

•Remove the existing condenser unit Model TCDV 251-A and all connected hardware.

•Remove and recover refrigerant in accordance with EPA guidelines.

•Install new condenser unit that meets current lab requirements for cooling (see “Unit To Be Replaced Specifications” below).

•Secure power to new condenser unit.

•Charge system with refrigerant to factory specifications.

•Perform start up and verify proper operation.

•Install protective barrier around perimeter to prevent damage to coil intake.

•Removal and disposal of old unit.

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and safety equipment for all elements of the project to provide a complete and properly operative installation.

Contractor is to provide an itemized service proposal when solicitation is open for bid.

Technicians performing the work shall be Air Condition Systems qualified and have no less than one (1) years minimum of experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing A/C Systems.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

The Contractor shall comply with all Federal, State, and local laws and safety regulations.

Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Corps of Engineers safety manual EM 385-1 and other applicable laws and regulations for the protection of Contractor employees is exclusively the obligation of the Contractor. The Contractor is responsible for furnishing Contractor employees with all necessary personal protective equipment and site-related safety equipment to perform services.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

Contractor shall provide valid driver’s license or other state identification to the Project Manager prior to project start.

Contractor employees will be denied access to the base if they have been convicted of 2 misdemeanors within five years or any felony within 10 years. If a contractor employee has any convictions and has not coordinated with the Contracting Officer in advance prior to incurring costs to fulfill contract requirements, the Government shall not be responsible for payment of any incurred costs.

COMPLETION PROCEDURES

Contractor will submit an electronic copy of the inspection documents to the Project Manager via email.

Contractor shall be responsible for site cleanup, to include legally disposing of remaining waste.

DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS

Not to exceed 14 weeks ARO post-solicitation.

INSTALLATION SPECIFICS

Contractor requiring a base pass must coordinate with the Project Manager at least 7 days prior to scheduled installation and include the names and driver’s license number of each individual requiring base access. Request shall also include anticipated installation time frame for this project to accommodate scheduling downtime for 16EWS labs.

Total installation time not to exceed two weeks.

Work is authorized during normal business hours: M-F: 0700-1500.
