Statement of Work
Replace Flooring in 12x20 Main Bldg at Splatter Swamp Paintball Course – 23d FSS
1. Scope The project involves the replacement of the plywood sub-floor and installation of VCT tile and base at the Splatter Swamp Paintball Course on Moody AFB. The damages were incurred during Hurricane Helene, necessitating the demo of the entire flooring and sub-flooring and installation of new sub-flooring and VCT tile and base. The objective of the project is to restore the structural integrity, functionality, safety, and aesthetics of the 12x20 building at Moody AFB.
2. Background 23d FSS strives to meet the needs of our customer base. The Splatter Swamp Paintball Course at Moody AFB has a 12x20 building that incurred damage from water entering the building through a leak in the door during Hurricane Helene. Moody AFB is not able to supply the demand for our paintball course to our customers due to the building damage sustained by Hurricane Helene. This has a direct, negative impact on the health of the MWRF. Replacing the flooring in our main building that stores all our equipment will allow Moody AFB to recover these lines of income in support of the MWRF.
